Randy Schunk has served as an officer of the ISCST for nine years and is currently on the board of directors. He is also a distinguished member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where his technical work includes computational mechanics with applications to microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), fluid wetting and spreading and research in numerical methods for solving problems in fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer. His current work includes applications in nanoparticle suspensions and nano-manufacturing.
